Percy Lipinski:
Co-Producer and Presenter
Percy von Lipinski has a life-long love of film and travel - both of which conspire to create refreshing and truly unique travel-based television programs that are also a gateway for personal transformation and self discovery. Currently a featured senior iReporter with CNN, he can be seen regularly on CNN and CNN International where he typically hosts short, "off-the-wall" human interest stories that have become a staple on the network. Formerly the Diplomat serving as Consul General of Morocco in Vancouver, Percy has also employed under the U.S. Secret Service and served as a U.S. military specialist contractor, and is a well known international lecturer. He still owns a controlling interest in International Visa Passport Service (www.visaconnection.com), a thriving business with offices in Vancouver, Calgary, and Ottawa and annual sales in excess of $5-million.
Percy picked up his first camera (Super 8) at age 13 and made over 50 short films and one movie. At 20 he founded Cygnus Productions which specialized in under water cinematography and commercials. He was also a stringer for ABC sports working with famed broadcaster Roone Aldridge shooting sports events on 16mm for the New York based Network. Most recently, Percy produced and directed a short documentary about Zimbabwe that was widely praised and sold out every night.
Having been to over 100 countries, Percy is fearless and folksy. With his natural gift of voice and his 6-foot 6-inch stature he's always the center of attention wherever he goes in the world.
